Thought about Point Clear with Pete but didn't fancy drive and Fludyers looked OK so rigged 7.3m and first few runs were OK then got way overpowered for rest of time, but struggled on as wind forecast to drop but was knackered by then. Came in for a couple of rests as tired so quickly and lost gybes as no grip with gloves. New Snugg wetsuit nice and warm which was handy as I spent a fair amount of time in the cold sea. Cambered sails are hard work in the water and clew would not lift out in current :-(. Some nice runs before wind got mental. Nice to get out can only got better. Swainey came for a view but not to sail; Andy came down but did not sail; one kiter at golf. Tried new wrist GPS Xmas pressie. Switched off for a while so guessed distance.
